Father of the Fifth Age

The Castrofax

Mage Gabriel is abnormally powerful, born in a world where the greatest Mages are half his strength, and when an ancient power awakes to take him captive, he must be broken at every level and rebuilt into a great leader capable of saving his race. As he struggles with freedom, his ward and long-time friend Princess Robyn marches on her kingdom to free him.

Gabriel drew his hand down sharply, feeling every thread pull on the framework of his body. For a moment there was nothing. Then one man shouted and pointed skyward as a glittering star grew closer. To an uneducated soldier, it looked as though the heavens had loosed their hold on the stars.

Breaking Stars

Still enslaved to the Castrofax, Mage Gabriel's will and power are quickly slipping. When Princess Robyn arrives to rescue him, unforseen consequences put them both in a dangerous situation. Bent on pleasing his new master, Prince Nolen will stop at nothing to retreive the Silex, an ancient power that will bring people back from the dead.

Lael nodded. “The Silex contains extreme power that one could use to fuel a pattern eternally or heal an army of afflictions, but it was truly made for one reason: to bring back the dead. We fear he will bring his Arch Mages out of the spirit world and give their bones flesh.”

Unlocking Void

In order to defeat the ancient power rising, Gabriel must unlock the forbidden mythical Element of Void, but it will cost him far much more than he is willing to give. Meanwhile, Robyn discovers a lie that will put her and Gabriel at odds and could break them forever.

“Is everyone in this castle going to march in here and monologue me into normalcy?” Gabriel glared.

Lael chuckled. “Mikelle giving love advice again?”

“Something like that.”

Chasing Bloodlines

In his search for more powerful Mages, Gabriel discovers more than he bargained for, and while tensions rise in Castle Jaden, Robyn finds herself in far greater danger than Gabriel is aware of.

“Gabriel, honestly.” Robyn sighed.

“Fine. What is chocolate, and what do you do with it? Do you wear it?”

“Some people do.” Mikelle said, “Some people should.”

Felling Kingdoms

Gabriel prepares for the worst as the Arch Mages increase their attacks, but no one could fathom their actions as they simultaneously advance on half the kingdoms. Meanwhile, Robyn finds herself in far greater danger than Gabriel is aware of, and could lose everything to a greedy Prince. When all falls apart, skilled Air Mage Shaun proves to be an invaluable ally and may save all of Castle Jaden when Gabriel is unable.

Someone knocked at the door. “Supper will be here any moment,” Shaun said.

“I can’t eat.” Mikelle exclaimed, “Gabriel is in crisis!”

“T'en leave him alone!”

“It’s not my fault he’s in crisis.”

Fighting Fate

Gabriel’s death has been fated by the Elements, but they did not specify how he would die. As he fights against this future, he will learn how powerful he really is, and how to control his own fate. As the final battle commences, an Element falls, and three will rise.

Gabriel pulled Robyn close and held her head to his chest, breathing her in. “If I don’t survive this—”

“You will,” she cut in. “I know it.”

“Yes, but if I don’t, I want you to carry on. Find a man who loves you and makes you happy. Let me lie where I fall.”
